Bicycles today cost many thousands of dollars. Terms like carbon lay up and vertical compliance are used to sell them. Wind tunnel numbers and Pro Tour victories are the barometer of success.

Yeah, but what does the thing feel like to ride?

At Testrider.com we want to answer that question. Forget the lengthy debates about boron and GSM numbers, how will this thing feel on my local club ride? That last few miles of a century? Jumping out of the final corner of a crit with that guy I just can’t seem to beat on my wheel?

At Testrider.com we don’t pretend to review a bike after a few hours in the saddle. Our “Chain Gang” puts in hundreds of miles, over varying terrain before we attempt to review a bike, or any other piece of equipment. Who are the “Chain Gang”? Riders with years of experience from pro road races, elite track competitions, expert mountain bike races, challenging centuries and grueling triathlons. The “Chain Gang” isn’t afraid to drop the hammer to find out if a product delivers on the edge. Sure, we’ve broken a few frames, taco’d a few wheels, and snapped a chain or two… but it’s all for a good cause!

At Testrider.com we ride to help you decide.
